Heavy Duty Wheelchairs

These are manufactured from a heavier gauge steel tubing than the standard wheelchairs. The heavier duty wheelchairs are suitable for patients up to 135kgs (300lbs) in weight. All areas of the chair under most stress are reinforced and a double cross bar gives extra strength. The upholstery is double thickness with a seat width of 51cm (20"). All have swing away detachable footrests and detachable arm rests.

 

Lightweight Wheelchairs

With it's sports looks and lightweight aircraft strength aluminium frame, the Victor represents exceptional value for money as many of the accessories come as standard. Its increased user weight limit of 100kg ensures a greater number of users can benefit from its blend of style, quality and value for money.

Manufactured from epoxy coated aluminium tubing, this wheelchair is available in two colours, blue and red. There are two seat widths available, 40cm (16") and 45cm (18"). It is also supplied with swing away detachable footrests, flip up armrests, 60cm (24") and 20cm (8") pneumatic tyred wheels. The rear wheels are fitted with quick release axles, which are set in a multipositional axle plate. Together with the adjustable front castor setting, the user is able to adjust the chair to the most comfortable seating position. Easily removed tipping levers are also supplied together with a velcro fixed seat cushion as standard.

Valiant Wheelchairs

This range has been designed with the discerning user in mind, light enough to be easily loaded into a car yet strong enough to support users of up to 100kg (220lbs). The range comprises of a car transit chair and a self propelled wheelchair with optional quick release rear wheels. The frame is epoxy coated in a smooth textured black and silver finish.

Car Transit Wheelchair
Manufactured from epoxy coated aluminium tubing, this car transit wheelchair is ideal for handling as it's light weight frame enables it to be easily taken into and out of a car. Other features are flip up arm rests, swing away detachable foot rests and velcro fixed seat cushion. Available in two seat widths 40cm (16") and 45cm (18"). Supplied with pneumatic front and rear tyres.



Valiant Wheelchair
Manufactured from epoxy coated aluminium tubing, this lightweight self propelled wheelchair is supplied with flip back arm rests, swing away detachable foot rests and a velcro fixed seat cushion. This model has fixed rear wheels as standard. Available in two seat widths 40cm (16") and 45cm (18"). There is also another model available as before but to ease transportation, the rear wheels are fitted with quick release axles set in a fixed position axle housing. These wheelchairs are also available with a folding back and/or elevating leg rests.
